I am a sports enthusiast. I started writing a blog in March of 2006 for fun. I love to write and that led to an opportunity to be a stringer for The Arizona Republic covering high school football games which I loved doing.

I started The Sports Courant as another outlet for my sports writing and to include some of my friends writing as well.
 
I was born and raised in Arizona but went to Mesa Verde High School in Sacramento, CA.  So although I root for most valley sports teams, I do have a soft spot for the Kings and will tell you that the best place to watch a minor league baseball game is at Raley Field right on the American River in downtown Sac.
