What Januzaj’s Return Could Mean For United

Adnan Januzaj has made an early return to Manchester United following a torrid loan spell with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Louis Van Gaal took the decision to bring the Belgian starlet back to Old Trafford as he wasn’t getting enough game time and exposure to life in the Bundesliga. Januzaj started just one Bundesliga game for Dortmund after making the move.

The loan spell proved a horrible experience for Januzaj as he found himself being more sidelined than he was at Old Trafford.

Van Gaal initially had no intention of cutting Januzaj’s loan short before he realized how little playing time his future star was receiving at the Signal Iduna Park.

Both parties didn’t seem to benefit from the loan deal and had no hesitation in terminating the same.

Januzaj back amongst the United lads would most definitely mean he would frequently feature in the near future because United are in need of creative minded players at the moment.

Memphis Depay hasn’t been able to live up to expectations this season and Januzaj could easily take over his place in the United first team.

With the Euro’s fast approaching, Januzaj will be keen on putting in his best performances for United to earn an international call-up for the Belgian national team.

His return will also help United in more than one ways as he could inject a lot of pace into the midfield as the Red Devils look to mount a viable top-four challenge.

The move back to United was probably the best thing for the Belgian as he will surely find a place in the starting lineup sooner than later, and with enough consistency and dedication, he could become an established first team player soon.

Although Januzaj knows that impressing Van Gaal won’t be easy as the Dutchman has previously expressed his displeasure at his style of play, but with a little extra effort and commitment Januzaj might just win over the hearts of United fans and LVG.
