With the international break upon us, we take a look at four players to watch before league action resumes.
3Ben Woodburn, Wales
Another young striker who has burst onto the scene recently is 17-year-old Ben Woodburn. Having scored against Leeds in the League Cup to become Liverpool’s youngest ever goal scorer, Woodburn has been used sparingly by Jurgen Klopp but is highly rated by the former Dortmund manager.
Despite being born in Chester, he qualifies for Wales through his grandfather and has played for Wales in various age groups having made his first appearance when he was 13 for the under 15s.
Playing in the senior team is a huge step up for him, and it will be interesting to see how manager Chris Coleman uses him against the Republic of Ireland.
