Liverpool have been struggling to agree on a deal with RB Leipzig all summer for their highly rated central midfielder Naby Keita. The Reds have made two very generous bids for the Guinean international but have seen both turned down, they’ve now tabled a third ‘take it or leave it’ bid, and should that offer be rejected, here are five players Liverpool can sign instead of Keita.
4Renato Sanches, Bayern Munich
The Euro 2016 winner attracted attention from Manchester United last summer, but he chose German side Bayern Munich instead.
However, he has not fit in well at the club or German life for that matter and has now admitted he needs to move in a bid to further his career. The former Golden Boy has bags of potential and would bring a certain amount of guile to the middle of the park at Anfield. A move would make sense for all parties involved.
