With the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica, who can feature at right or centre back, Manchester United have improved their backline tenfold.

But with a significant injury to Marcos Rojo and several other defenders being made of glass, no names mentioned *cough* Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw *cough*. With the success of Eric Bailly signing from Villareal last season Manchester United should look to Spain once again to strengthen their back line.

Manchester United will know all about him having faced him twice in the semi-final of the Europa League last season.

At 26, he is approaching his prime years, and even if Celta did not show their full potential in La Liga last season, they sure did in the Europa League.

He is comfortable on the ball and can intercept key through balls which is vital at right back. He can often be too strong in a tackle sometimes, but that enthusiasm is why United fans took so warmly to other right-backs such as Antonio Valencia and Rafael.
