The left-back has been spotted by the extensive scouting network of Manchester United’s links. The Argentinean has only made 7 appearances this season, but it’s said that his relentless attitude, quick foot speed and tough tackling look a perfect fit for English football.
Currently, Manchester United only have Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw to play at left-back. Ashley Young has done well, but he’s still susceptible to being turned inside out, while Daley Blind is too slow for the Premier League and Luke Shaw is entirely out of José Mourinho’s plans.
