Crouch is the latest player to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in extraordinary style. The former Spurs man is currently Stoke’s top goal scorer, although that is not saying much, with 4 goals; alongside Mame Diouf and Eric Choupo-Moting.
The lanky former England international grew up as a Chelsea fan and it would be a dream of his to play for them. He does turn 37 this month so Conte would only be looking to bring him in on loan until the end of the season. However, with a transfer ban possibly happening would he be tempted to make a formal bid so that he has Crouch for next season?
