5Romelu Lukaku Needs Time to Adapt
Lukaku’s arrival at Old Trafford was met with much fanfare thanks to his status as one of the Premier League’s most prolific strikers. Thus far, his performances have been met with much criticism as he’s struggled to find consistency in front of goal.
His lack of consistency can be attributed to fatigue, the pressure of assuming the mantle of Manchester United’s main threat in the attacking third as well as his lack of familiarity with the team’s system.
The Belgian forward still has 10 goals to his name, though, which in itself highlights his goalscoring ability, hence judging from what we saw from Lukaku at United in 2017, he still needs time to adapt.
