2Manchester United are Over-reliant on Pogba
Paul Pogba is undoubtedly Manchester United’s technical leader on the pitch. He possesses the ability to galvanise the entire team with his electrifying style of play and creativity, but it’s fair to say that the Red Devils are a tad too reliant on the sensational Frenchman.
The 24-year-old is the most important player in Jose Mourinho’s system, so much so that in his absence, the system loses its effectiveness, hence United need to prioritise the acquisition of a creative midfielder capable of stepping in for Pogba when he’s unfit, injured or fatigued.
Mourinho also needs to create an alternative system in case of a scenario where Pogba is being tightly marked and unable to unleash his creative prowess.
