3Not One Player Improved Ability-Wise
I don’t know if this was done on purpose or nobody seems to have noticed, but there’s not one player in the Arsenal starting XI that improved over the course of 2017. Yes, some may have received more game time to show their talents, but in terms of improvement? Nothing.
Seriously, name me one Arsenal player that’s improved over the past calendar year? Mesut Özil has always been brilliant, Alex Iwobi has always connected well with others and Hector Bellerín has proved that perhaps he wasn’t anything special in the first place. For a club as big as Arsenal, it’s sad but the truth is, not one player has improved in quality or ability at the Emirates.
