Many interesting details were seen in the matches that played last night in the NBA. The evening began in Washington, where the domestic Wizards beat the Milwaukee Bucks at Verizon Center with 115:86. John Wall led his team with 19 points and 9 assists, and Otto Porter recorded the same number of points. Jared Dudley contributed off the bench with 13 points. On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo played one of the worst games of the season; he shot just 3-13 for 9 points. True, he had a season-high 7 assists to go with 5 rebounds. Kris Middleton was the best in his team with 14 points, followed by Michael Carter-Williams and Greivis Vasquez with 12 points.

Brooklyn Nets enrolled the second victory of the season after last night’s win over Atlanta Hawks in their Barclays Center-90:88. Thaddeus Young provided a triumph with a pair of free throws one second before the end. The Hawks had the last possession for a victory or at least overtime, but the Nets played excellent in defense. Brook Lopez led the Nets with an impressive double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, Young also had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. In the visiting team, Al Horford scored 18 points, followed by Paul Millsap with 17, while Kyle Korver added 13 points.

Detroit Pistons defeated the Cavaliers at Auburn Hill Palace with 104:99. Although he was the best player in his team, LeBron James made a crucial turnover 48 seconds before the end. A double-double machine, Andre Drummond, represented the dominant force under the rims of both rivals once again. The powerful center finished with impressive figures of 25 points and 18 rebounds with 10-15 from the field. The Pistons’ point guard, Reggie Jackson, also recorded a double-double with 23 points, 12 assists, and 6 rebounds. Ilyasova scored 20. For the visitors, LeBron James scored 30 points with the 11-21 field goal and 4-7 from beyond the arc. Kevin Love added 19 points and 9 rebounds. Not enough for the triumph in the “Motown”.

Minnesota Timberwolves conquered the American Airlines Arena, defeating the Miami Heat to 103:91. Andrew Wiggins was the key figure once again and ended the match with 24 points. The first pick of the last draft, Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds. Ricky Rubio made his comeback, but struggled from the field, only 1-7. However, the Wolves ended their wretched run of four straight defeats in the Spaniard’s absence. The Wolves’ bench was the one that prevailed. Shabazz Muhammad was excellent; he scored 16 points with a 6-8 from the field, and Zach LaVine contributed with 17 points. For the Heat, Hassan Whiteside recorded the second triple-double of his career with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 amazing blocks. Luol Deng scored 20; Goran Dragic had 16 with 9 assists.

New York Knicks beat the Charlotte Hornets with 102:94 at the MSG. Kristaps Porzingis exploded for a career-high 29 points along 11 rebounds. The rookie was brilliant from the field, shooting 10-17. Anthony was good with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Aaron Afflalo added 16 points. In Charlotte, Kemba Walker was the best and led his team with 31 points with an excellent 12-21 field goal. However, the other Hornets’ starters were not in the mood to play, so Charlotte couldn’t expect to win.

Denver Nuggets won at New Orleans Pelicans with 115:98. Another injury issue for the Pelicans caused Anthony Davies, who played only six minutes before left the game with a shoulder injury. Alvin Gentry believes that the injury is not serious, though. Danilo Gallinari exploited Davis absence to turn the game into his spectacle. The Italian scored 32 points with a brilliant 12-19 from the field, and 5-8 for three points. He flirted with a triple-double grabbing 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Will Barton provided a great help with 17 points. In the home team, Ryan Anderson took over the offensive burden, he scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and Eric Gordon added 19 points, but it was not enough to win. The Pelicans continue to lose, have the 1-10 record.

Finally, Golden State Warriors won over Toronto Raptors with 115:110 in a match with plenty of dramas. The Warriors had 18+ points lead, but allowed the opponents to come close, but eventually won the game. However, everything is easier when you have Steph Curry in a team. Incredible playmaker continued its sovereign rule of the NBA. He scored 37 points last night with 9 assists and excellent shooting percentage from the game 13-23 and 5-10 for three points. He was accompanied by Klay Thompson with 19 points. Lowry and DeRozan were the best in the visiting team with 28 points each.

Detroit vs. Cleveland 104:99
Miami vs. Minnesota 91:103
New York vs. Charlotte 102:94
