Alexandre Lacazette Arsenal

Arsenal have done some good business this summer with the signing of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette for a club-record fee of £46.5 million plus add-ons looking like a great deal. Full-back Kolasinac also arrived from Bundesliga side Schalke and added much-needed cover in defence. However, Arsenal supporters were left baffled on Sunday when Arsenal’s starting line-up for the Liverpool game was released, and neither were included. This was a decision that came back to haunt Wenger after he witnessed his side get torn apart by Jurgen Klopp’s relentless Reds. It must make Arsenal supporters wonder whether it is even worth bringing in big signings if they are not even guaranteed to play.
