Audi Cup 2015: Tottenham Hotspur vs AC Milan Live Match Updates

Tottenham Hotspur will be keen to end their preseason campaign on a high when they lock horns with Italian club AC Milan in a third place playoff game of Audi Cup 2015 at Allianz Arena in Munich on Wednesday.

The Spurs suffered a morale-shaking 0-2 defeat the hands of Real Madrid in their opening game of preseason tournament on Tuesday afternoon and will attempt to beat the Spanish giants to restore confidence ahead of their Premier League opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Milan, on the other hand, will be aiming to bounce back from a thrashing 0-3 defeat to hosts Bayern in their tournament-opener on Tuesday to finish at third.

Team News:

Spurs’ goalkeeper Mauricio Pochettino has resumed contact training after recovering from a wrist injury he suffered at the start of preseason campaign but it is unlikely that club’s boss Mauricio Pochettino will risk playing him in this game.

This means Michel Vorm, who played full 90 minutes against Madrid, will take charge in the nets again.

Milan, meanwhile, are likely to be without of forward M’Baye Niang and defender Cristian Zapata, who both were substituted with injuries in loss to Bayern.

Squads (From):

Tottenham: Trippier, Walker, Rose, Chadli, Kane, Vorm, Lloris, McGee, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Bentaleb, Mason, Winks, Alli, Dembele, Onomah, Eriksen, Davies, Dier, Fazio, Carroll, Lamela.
