The Red Devils have been tracking Antoine Greizmann for a while now over a possible move to Old Trafford amidst interest from Chelsea.

Reports claim that Griezmann himself may be set for a dream move to the English Premier League with Old Trafford his likely destination. Griezmann, 24 has been a revelation since his move to Athletico Madrid.

With Wayne Rooney looking like a shadow of himself, Manchester United will be looking to add spark to their attack, which makes Greizmann the perfect target. He has scored four goals and made two assists already this season with a conversion rate better than Rooney has managed in recent months.

Manchester United started their pursuit for Antoine in August after Chelsea made a surprise swoop for Pedro.

Antoine Greizmann had a £57million release clause included in his contract during the last transfer window so he will surely be an expensive buy if Manchester United are to secure his signature in the coming transfer window.

It was reported last week that Grezmann is a top priority for Real Madrid but United seem to have an upper hand in the battle to sign him as reports suggest they have contacted the player’s agent recently.

If this deal works out, it might just be the beginning of better things for both parties.
