Up against a quick Serge Aurier, Young put in a stellar performance that was key to Manchester United’s defensive solidity.
Young excelled in both attack and defence. In his 93 minutes on the pitch, Ashley Young had 79 touches of the ball, completed 1 successful take-on, won 2 aerials, made 3 tackles and completed 22 passes. Even when Luke Shaw gains full fitness, there’s no way he’ll able to displace the more than competent Ashley Young.
