Luke Shaw may finally be a constant feature in José Mourinho’s plans again, but make no doubt about it, Manchester United still need another left-back. Don’t get me wrong, Ashley Young has been exceptional in that position, but at 32 years of age, he doesn’t have many more months at the top level left in him. Plain and simple, Manchester United need a left-back and luckily for them, there are several options available.
Five left-backs Manchester United can sign.
5Ricardo Rodríguez
The Swiss international’s time at the San Siro hasn’t been what he probably expected. The Rossoneri currently sit 11th in Serie A, having already lost 8 out of 20 league games. The truth of the matter is, Ricardo Rodríguez is too good to be part of a failing Milan side, he deserves to have his talents showcased on a grander stage, in a better team. His tough tackling style, desire to get forward and non-stop work rate would make him a standout defender in the Premier League.
