It has been a torrid time for West Ham this season despite making some high profile signings in the summer transfer window. However, the players have not gelled together for whatever reason, and ultimately it did cost Slaven Bilic his job. Now David Moyes is the man in charge to help The Hammers but who should he sign for the struggling Londoners?
Let’s see if he can resist the temptation to sign the likes of Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, Adnan Januzaj and Joleon Lescott.
5Jack Wilshere, Arsenal
It has become a standard procedure for ex-Arsenal players to travel a few miles down the road to West Ham after they have finished playing for the Gunners. The move would more than likely be a loan deal as Wilshere looks to increase his game time in the Premier League to convince Gareth Southgate that he deserves a seat on the plane to Russia.
It is well known that Moyes wants to bring in a new central midfielder to help stop the rot and Wilshere could be that man. He is a talented player who has suffered from a lot of injuries, but as has always been the case with him, when he stays fit and plays consistently he performs at a high level.
