It has been a torrid time for West Ham this season despite making some high profile signings in the summer transfer window. However, the players have not gelled together for whatever reason, and ultimately it did cost Slaven Bilic his job. Now David Moyes is the man in charge to help The Hammers but who should he sign for the struggling Londoners?
Let’s see if he can resist the temptation to sign the likes of Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, Adnan Januzaj and Joleon Lescott.
4Odion Ighalo, Changchan Yatai
The Nigerian international has been linked with a move to the London stadium as the goals have dried up. Just 12 goals all season for the East London side and they need to improve to avoid relegation. Ighalo has 16 Premier League goals himself in two seasons at Watford, and that experience could be vital for him slotting into the side alongside Javier Hernandez, with the two international quality strikers able to find the back of the net.
The positive news for West Ham fans is that since going to China, the goals have not dried up like Carlos Tevez, Graziano Pelle and Jackson Martinez who all made the switch in recent years. The 28-year-old has scored 15 goals in 27 appearances for the Chinese side and has helped them achieve a 7th place finish which is an improvement as they finished 12th in 2016.
