It has been a torrid time for West Ham this season despite making some high profile signings in the summer transfer window. However, the players have not gelled together for whatever reason, and ultimately it did cost Slaven Bilic his job. Now David Moyes is the man in charge to help The Hammers but who should he sign for the struggling Londoners?
Let’s see if he can resist the temptation to sign the likes of Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, Adnan Januzaj and Joleon Lescott.
1James Tarkowski, Burnley
What a season he is having! many thought Burnley would struggle having lost Michael Keane, but they are still doing a brilliant job as they sit 7th on the table. This is down to some solid defensive displays from Tarkowski. He has had to be patient and wait for his chance at Turf Moor, but he has taken the opportunity with both hands. He has been ever present in the defence this year and is one of the reasons they have kept six clean sheets this season.
Tarkowski is up for a battle in both the air and on the ground. Moyes needs someone who is ready to fight for the cause and has that Premier League knowhow at the back so they can slot straight into the side. Either way, he will still be playing claret and blue after the January transfer window.
