With Chelsea struggling for firepower up front in terms of a traditional striker and Alvaro Morata reportedly wanting to leave Stamford Bridge, here are five players that might interest the current F.A Cup winners.

Callum Wilson, Bournemouth

The England striker seems to be the standout man for Chelsea. With nine league goals this season and blistering pace he could be the striker Chelsea need. Having fought through adversity with several injury setbacks he has shown real quality and desire to show how good of a striker he can be. However, Bournemouth are not a club in the mood of selling their star striker and have slapped a price tag of upwards of £50 million on him.

Gonzalo Higuain, AC Milan (On loan from Juventus)

Gonzalo Higuain

The Argentinian striker has only been on loan at AC Milan for six months but if Chelsea come calling then he will be looking to move away from the San Siro; with Juventus’ permission. He is a proven goal scorer wherever he has been and has eight goals in all competitions so far as Milan try and build themselves back up in the league as well as on the European level. He is a strong individual and will be an improvement on Olivier Giroud who has struggled for form and game time as of late.

Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski

Lewandowski has been a target for Chelsea for a very long time and now could be the time they go for the Polish striker. He is still scoring a lot of goals in the Bundesliga and Champions League for Bayern Munich. He is also bang in form which would make him the ideal January signing for the London club. However, speculation suggests that they would face competition from Real Madrid and current side Bayern Munich to keep him at the club.

Ciro Immobile, Lazio

Immobile is another striker who could be key for Chelsea. The Italian has bagged ten goals in Serie A this season and fired Lazio into fourth place as they look to finish in the top four to get into the Champions League for the first time since 2007-08 (failed to qualify for the group stage in 2015-16). Immobile is a natural in front of goal and knows how to find the back of the net. However, he can contribute for his teammates as he looks for key passes and looks for assists as well as goals; he has six assists to his name.

Jamie Vardy, Leicester City

Jamie Vardy

This could be an outside chance for the former England striker to play in Europe again. The Chelsea board have suggested if the Higuain deal falls through then Vardy could be a second option. Many felt after he turned Arsenal down in 2016 he would not get another chance to play for one of the top six sides again but he has not dropped off one bit since Leicester’s sensational season that saw them lift the Premier League. He is still scoring plenty of goals and is still a major thorn in the side of the opposition with his pace and intensity.
