It is still very early days to judge whether the club-record fee of around £52.7 million paid to secure the services of the 26-year-old striker was worth it or not. However, the former Lyon man did look impressive in his first competitive appearance for Arsenal. Arsenal started the match very brightly, with Lacazette heavily involved with a majority of their attacking moves. He curled an effort onto Thibaut Courtois’ post from just inside the area after finding himself in space.
