One of the oldest leagues in Europe, The Italian Serie A, is in its 116th Season. It has been one of the most competitive Leagues in European football, and yet, none of the previous Serie A winners or any other team were able to put on a decent fight against the 7th consecutive title chasing Juventus. But, things have changed drastically since the end of last season giving out a possible Serie A of old.

2. Flairy Challenge – Napoli

With a team full of flair players like Callejon, Mertens, Insigne, Hamsik, etc., to name a few, Napoli have become one of the most exciting teams to look out for in the Serie A. They have been doing this for quite some time. Not losing Insigne to Premier League clubs along with the addition of former Manchester United target Adam Ounas, should be considered as a great victory during the transfer season for Napoli

An opening day win at Hellas Verona with only 10 men, is a testament to Napoli’s fighting spirit. With a committed coach in Maurizio Sarri, Napoli boast of a 66% win percentage over the past 2 seasons. It’s worth noting that they finished as the league’s highest scorers last season. If these numbers can transform into more wins, Napoli might finally win the Serie A this season.
