One of the oldest leagues in Europe, The Italian Serie A, is in its 116th Season. It has been one of the most competitive Leagues in European football, and yet, none of the previous Serie A winners or any other team were able to put on a decent fight against the 7th consecutive title chasing Juventus. But, things have changed drastically since the end of last season giving out a possible Serie A of old.

With their first season in what feels like a trillion years without Francesco Totti, AS Roma might want to show everybody that they are still a great team without Rome’s favourite son.

The loss of Salah, Rudiger, Paredes and Szczesny can be negated by the signings of Moreno, Karsdorp, Gonalons, Kolarov and Cengiz Under. Retaining key players like Nainggolan, Manolas and Strootman along with the fantastic form of Edin Dzeko can only help in improving their points tally from last season, which stood at 87 points.
