It has been a busy summer of transfer activity for Leeds United so far with a host of new players arriving at Elland Road. The likes of Ergjan Alioski, Samuel Saiz Alonso, Vurnon Anita, Caleb Ekuban, Mateusz Klich, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Felix Wiedwald have been added to Thomas Christiansen’s squad as he looks to build on the foundations put in place by Garry Monk in The Championship next season.
However, despite spending a reasonable amount of money already this summer, it would be no surprise to see further additions before the end of the transfer window with another centre-back and a striker high on the list of priorities. We have taken a look at how United could potentially be lining up next season.
11Goalkeeper: Rob Green
It appeared that the former England goalkeeper’s career was nearing its end when he joined Leeds from Queens Park Rangers in 2016. However, this has proved not to be the case as the 37-year-old has flourished at Elland Road. He played in every single Championship game for the Whites last season, racking up 46 appearances and put in some stunning performances. He is likely to be Christiansen’s number one for the upcoming campaign.
