It has been a busy summer of transfer activity for Leeds United so far with a host of new players arriving at Elland Road. The likes of Ergjan Alioski, Samuel Saiz Alonso, Vurnon Anita, Caleb Ekuban, Mateusz Klich, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Felix Wiedwald have been added to Thomas Christiansen’s squad as he looks to build on the foundations put in place by Garry Monk in The Championship next season.
However, despite spending a reasonable amount of money already this summer, it would be no surprise to see further additions before the end of the transfer window with another centre-back and a striker high on the list of priorities. 8Centre-Back: Pontus Jansson
The 26-year-old defender became a fan’s favourite during his loan spell from Serie A side Torino last season and has now joined the club on a permanent deal.
He made 34 league appearances last year and also chipped in with three goals.
