Liverpool vs Aston Villa: Confirmed Starting Squads Revealed

Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon when they take on Aston Villa at home.

The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City at Anfield last weekend, and they will be determined to pick up all three points the same venue this afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will head into today’s match on the back of a win against Carlisle United at Anfield in the third round of the League Cup.

However, the victory on Wednesday came on penalties, and Liverpool fans will want the team to give a much better performance.

Meanwhile, Villa find themselves just a point and a place above the Premier League relegation zone and are in depart need of a win.

Tim Sherwood’s side will head into the match at Anfield on the back of a 1-0 victory over Birmingham City at Villa Park in the third round of the League Cup.
