Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has admitted that it is about time to bid adieu to Selhurst Park if a big club comes in asking for his services.
The 26-year-old Congolese professional arrived at the south London club from Bristol City in 2012 and has helped the Eagles establish themselves as a recognized Premier League side.
Palace’s 10th-place finish in the Premier League last season was built upon Bolasie’s brilliant form.
The Congo international has been on the watchlist of various European clubs including Tottenham and Liverpool, but White Hart Lane appears to his obvious next as the Reds have already completed their summer business
“I am a loyal guy, but this is a business. Opportunities to play for a top club do not swing by every day.
“You’d have to see if it suits you and your family. At my age, it could be the right time – but it has to be right for the club as well,” he was quoted as saying by TEAMTalk.
Following the departure of Roberto Soldado to Villarreal, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add some potent striker to the squad but Palace are believed to want around £25million for the wantaway winger.
The Congolese was left out of the Palace starting lineup on the opening day against Norwich City, before being taken off at half-time in Sunday’s loss to Arsenal.
