Manchester United will faceTottenham Hotspur to kick-off their new Premier League campaign at the Old Trafford in Greater Manchester, England on Saturday, August 8.
The two clubs last met on the opening weekend in 1997, with United winning 2-0 at White Hart Lane, but Red Devils will host the North London club for the first time in the first league match.
United thrashed Spurs 3-0 at Old Trafford last March as Louis van Gaal’s side produced one of the best performances of the season.
