Manchester United are looking to get their lost confidence back as they welcome Wolfsburg at Old Trafford on Wednesday. The game is set to kick-off at 7:45 BST, the live action will be covered by BT Sports.

The Red Devils, who are atop the Premier League ranking chart, started their Champions League campaign at the slight note with a humiliating 2-1 defeat against PSV Endhovian earlier this month. However, they are now quite hopeful to make an impact by beating Wolfs tonight.

The visitors, meanwhile, enter the clash at the back of a glorious 1-0 home win against CSKA Moscow, which marks their first victory in the tournament so far. An England trip has never proved any enjoyable for the Bundesliga club, having to face defeat in all three encounters at Old Trafford. However, Dieter Hecking’s boys are hoping to change the things and extend their lead over United to six points by overcoming the Devils.

It is going to be the two clubs’ third mutual encounter with both previous victories claimed by Man United. Except Bayern Munich, none of the German clubs has managed to beat United so far.

Let’s have a look at confirmed team news and starting lineups.
