The third and series-deciding T20 international between Pakistan and World XI will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday.

The series stands level at 1-1. The hosts won the opening game by 20 runs before the visitors bounced back to secure a seven-wicket win in a last-over thriller.

Hashim Amla hit an unbeaten 55-ball 72 while Thisara Perera ransacked 47* off 19 as the visitors chased down 175 on the penultimate ball.

Earlier, Babar Azam continued his fine form with a 38-ball 45 while Ahmed Shehzad and Shoaib Malik made 43 and 39 runs respectively as Pakistan managed 174-6 in their allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan are expected to make a couple of change in their lineup for the finale.

Fast bowler Hassan Ali is set to make a comeback after recovering from a back strain that forced him to miss the second game which means either Sohail Khan or Usman Khan Shinwari will have to sit out.

Another change likely in their side is the replacement of Muhammad Nawaz with fellow all-rounder Fahim Ashraf, who bowled just one over and faced only one ball in the opening game.

All-rounder Shoaib Malik was also uncertain for the decider after picking a finger injury during Wednesday’s game but team sources have confirmed that he will play.

Meanwhile, World XI, are likely to bring back Darren Sammy, who was dropped for the second game. The West Indian all-rounder will replace Paul Collingwood in the line-up.

Former Australia captain George Bailey is also in line to play his first game in the series and will most probably replace David Miller.
