PSV vs Manchester United: Confirmed Lineups

Date:

Premier League giants Manchester United stage a comeback to UEFA Champions League group stage when they lock horns with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadion in Netherlands on Tuesday evening.

After finishing fourth on the Premier League table, the former champions had to play a two-legged play-off against Club Brugge to qualify for the group stage. The Red Devils emphatically thrashed the Belgian champions to reclaim their place in the group stage of Europe’s most prestigious tournament.

On the other hand, PSV welcomed the new season with three victories and two draws in five matches they have played in their Eredivisie campaign thus far.

The Dutch champions don’t seem to be missing the goals this season so far and coming into tonight’s fixture riding on the back of a 6-0 victory against Cambuur.

However, Phillip Cocu’s side will have to cement their defence, as that area has looked vulnerable. Having conceded four goals in five matches, the PSV defenders will be wary of the United forwards’ abilities.
