Juventus are currently in the midst of preparations for a high-profile Serie A outing, when the Bianconeri will play host to Antonio Conte’s Napoli on Saturday evening. The matchup marks an important one in the early running for the Scudetto, with Napoli sitting pretty atop the Italian top-flight, and Juve just a point back, in 4th.
The latter are fresh off an altogether encouraging start to their Champions League campaign in midweek, when the Old Lady made short work of Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in Turin. With the fixtures now coming thick and fast, though, boss Thiago Motta is understood to be giving consideration to shaking up his starting XI this weekend.
The attacking third is considered the most likely area for change, with at least one of Kenan Yildiz, Nico González, and Teun Koopmeiners expected to be afforded a rest. And as much, it would appear, could well open the door for a season debut in the Juventus frontline.
As per a report from Calciomercato, Thiago Motta could consider ‘launching’ Vasilije Adžić against Napoli. The Montenegrin sensation, who arrived in Turin from his home country over the summer, has recovered from a recent spell on the sidelines through injury, now fully fit and ready to feature.
Adžić dazzled during pre-season, with his performances in training continuing to catch the eye, too. Should Motta opt to shake things up on Saturday, the 18-year-old is in turn considered a real ‘candidate’ to take his place in Juve’s attacking trident, ahead of the likes of Timothy Weah, and Samuel Mbangula.
