The 2018 World Cup is just over a month away, and the anticipation for it is gradually beginning to rise. The Premier League and UEFA Champions League are excellent tournaments, but nothing compares to the grandeur of the World Cup. At this year’s edition of the tournament, Arsenal will potentially have 14 players representing their countries. This one of the highest totals of any club in world football. Out of all those names, let’s see whose most likely to make an impact on the world stage.

Here are three players to watch out for in the 2018 World Cup.

2Joel Campbell

Joel Campbell

Joel Campbell, remember him? In the 2014 World Cup, Joel Campbell dazzled and shined on the world stage, thus infecting Arsenal fans with excitement. Since then, things haven’t really worked out for the Costa Rican as Arsène Wenger has repeatedly sent him out on loan. In his latest loan spell, Campbell has been out injured for 213 days with knee and ankle problems.

Because of that, the 25-year-old has only played 119 minutes of football this season, leading to 1 goal and 1 assist. That’s a shame but as of March the 6th, the winger is fully fit and ready to play. Meaning he’ll be available to lead Costa Rica to summit of world football next month.
