The stop-gap Premier League season has come to an end with an astonishing comeback of Manchester United in the second half of the season. Few clubs, despite shelling out the money in the transfer market, failed to improve their position. Whereas the clubs like Norwich City, who didn’t spend the money in the transfer market, are guilty of their work. However, Norwich City couldn’t sustain the season after they were promoted at the beginning of the 2019-20 season.

On the other hand, Eddie Howe’s heroics for Bournemouth didn’t yield results on the final day of the season. The manager, with a very low transfer budget, was able to keep up the club for five seasons in the top-flight. The draw between Westham United and Aston Villa relegated AFC Bournemouth into Championship. After the clubs like AFC Bournemouth, Norwich City and Watford have failed to retain their places in the Premier League, it is the transfer window time all across the globe.

There have been few individual stars in the Premier League for the relegated sides throughout the campaign. Despite their brilliance, they couldn’t keep the team afloat in the top-tier. Nathan Ake has already moved to Manchester City owing to his brilliant performances. Here is a list of players who might follow Ake’s path and deserve to be in the Premier League:

#1) Max Aarons

Current Team: Norwich City

Teams interested: Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur

The young full-back is one of the in-demand players of the Carrow Road outfit. Despite the club being relegated, the right-back has shown that he has enormous potential to fight for a place in the top Premier League clubs. Max Aarons has been a wall on the flanks and has stood second in the list of least dribbled past players. Only Matt Doherty of Wolves was dribbled past fewer times in the Premier League.

The player averages 37.2 passes per game apart from 1.3 tackles and 1 interception per game in the 36 appearances. These stats are quite interesting when compared to that of the side which has fought for their survival. With clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur looking for a reliable backup on the flanks, Aarons can be a great player.

#2) Ismalia Sarr

Current Team: Watford

Teams interested: Liverpool

The Watford youngster can be too hot to handle for the Championship wing-backs and full-backs with his pace. The Senegalese international was one of the players who derailed Liverpool’s dream of finishing the campaign as invincibles at Vicarage Road. Having rattled one of the famous full-back pairs of the Premier League, it is no doubt that Sarr should play for a side competing in Champions League and not in Championship.

In 28 appearances across all the competitions, the 22-year-old has five goals and six assists to his name. The player has achieved these accolades when he has started just 16 times in the Premier League. Ismalia Sarr is a versatile player who loves to dribble on the pitch. The Senegalese international accounts for 1.7 dribbles per game in the Premier League and a pass percentage of 81.5.

The above mentioned stats are astonishing for a player who has struggled for minutes this season. With versatility, pace and a strong feet to offer for the side, Sarr deserves to stay up in the top flight.

#3) Callum Wilson

Current Team: AFC Bournemouth

Teams interested: Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United

The clubs should and will vary of AFC Bournemouth’s striker. The 28-year-old was injured for close to 16 months as he suffered ACL injury for the second time in his career. In the 2019/20 season, the player registered eight goals and supplied three assists in the available game time. However, the past injury record didn’t hamper him from getting the game time as he appeared in most of the starting XI.

On the other hand, the player couldn’t obtain the quality services in the outfield due to the injury of David Brooks. On the other flank, Ryan Fraser had a dip in his form and couldn’t help the team out. If there is a quality service for the striker, Callum Wilson can go miles as he is a reliable goalscorer.
