Generally, home turf is where most sportsmen are comfortable, and football teams are no different. Tottenham Hotspur remained unbeaten at home for the entire 2016-17 season. But that was at White Hart Lane, and it was truly home. Since their temporary move to Wembley, they have been uncomfortable at home at the best of times and completely out of sorts at the worst times. But they have transposed their home form from last season to their away form this season.

Spurs are yet to lose an away match this season. In four away matches so far, they have scored eleven goals and conceded only two. On Saturday, they travel to Huddersfield and will be determined to keep their away record intact before heading into the second international break of the season. Here, we take a look at the players who can give Pochettino’s side the best chance of doing that.

Moussa Sissoko

With both Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele injured, Spurs have been playing Sissoko and Eric Dier in the central midfield. Sissoko plays the ball-winning midfielder’s role, putting in the tackles and winning the bulk of them (81.8%). His distribution is decent (80% accuracy), but clearly, his role is not to ping inch-perfect passes.
