Manchester United may be looking to sign Harry Kane in the January window as reports from the Sun suggested in late October.
Harry Kane didn’t hit the ground running at the start of the season leaving many to label him a ‘one season wonder’, but at the moment, he’s proven critics wrong and is currently leading the Charge in Tottenham’s campaign for Champions League football.
Kans picked up where he left off from last season although it took him a while to get back to the type of form that saw him finish behind Aguero in the race for the Premier League’s top scorer award last season.
Louis Van Gaal might have his eye on him once again considering reports late last year which suggested that he would be in for the player once the January transfer window opens up.
Van Gaal recently revealed that he’s looking into the possibility of signing a new striker givenUnited’s lack of adequate fire power up this season.
Although Harry Kane is still relatively young he’s ranked as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and reports suggest that United might have to break the current Premier League transfer record of £57.6million to lure Kane to Old Trafford.
It’s no doubt that United are in need of a prolific striker as they look to make their way back into the top four and possibly challenge for the Premier League trophy which is still very much within reach at this stage for the Red Devils considering how tight the race for the title is at the top end of the table.
But on that front, Harry Kane is just one of the players many players linked with United this window as reports also claim that the Red Devils are on the verge of signing Felipe Anderson in a bid to bolster the creativity in the middle of the park.
The recent win against Swansea appears to have given the United fans some renewed hope in Van Gaal so the Dutchman is expected to receive heavy funds to strengthen the squad in bid to finish within the top four.
