Man United Vs. Chelsea: What’s Written On The Wall For LVG

Date:

Manchester United take on Chelsea in today’s main fixture as Louis Van Gaal looks to regain the love of the disappointed fans fully cognizant of the fact that it could well be his last taste of Premier League Action.

It might not come as much of a surprise, but the Dutch boss could be on his way out of Old Trafford if Red Devils succumb to a loss against his countryman Guus Hiddink.

Manchester United have endured an Unsuccessful Post-Fergie Era, and It looks like they are fading into obscurity as the seasons go by. If United continues to be on the slope, then it won’t take much longer before they turn into the modern day Liverpool.

Van Gaal possesses a proven track record of League and Cup titles as well as individual managerial accolades, but his antics and personality don’t seem to suit United.

Being the type of manager LVG is, he should’ve have attained a certain degree of success with United, so it may be just be that he’s not reaching out to the players in the proper manner.

Fergie was as much of a father figure for the players, but Van Gaal seems to be somewhat of a taskmaster who expects perfection even when imposing absurd tactics under bizarre circumstances.

Louis Van Gaal knows quite well that this could be his final game as a Red, so with the added pressure he’s going to demand something more from his players.

The build up to this illustrious fixture might have opened his eyes a little bit to what Manchester United means to the Premier League in a whole.

Van Gaal will have to demand complete dexterity and passion from his players today. The Marquee players will have to rise to the occasion.

And LVG himself will have to turn on his motivational demeanor if he wants his players to wear their hearts upon their sleeves for today’s crunch clash.

He needs to get everyone playing the way they’re supposed to, LVG should focus on the ‘Manchester United Way’ from now on rather than his ‘Van Gaal philosophy’ as his theory doesn’t seem to be taking United anywhere at the moment.

This could very well be the final chapter in Van Gaal’s Manchester United career but if he’s to have any real chance of seeing out the remaining years on his contract he’ll have to be Louis Van Gaal of Manchester United rather than a man who’s living on his past achievements.
