5 Players Chelsea Should Sign to Become a European Superpower

1
Why Chelsea is Blue

After a season of mid-table embarrassment, Chelsea have bounced back strongly under the tutelage of Antonio Conte. The Italian had turned the fortune of the club with his innovative tactics and clever man-management.

However, another thing that benefited the former Juventus manager was that he had no Champions League to worry about last season. As a result, with focus only on the Premiership, Chelsea players were quite fresh and won the league by the end of the season after beating off competition from Tottenham Hotspur.

With Europe to think about this season, here are 5 signings Chelsea could make to increase their strength in depth and become a European superpower

2Danilo – Real Madrid

Danilo

Once again, the underlying importance of full-backs means that Chelsea need four terrific full-backs in order to become an unbreakable force. While Danilo might not have had a great career at Real Madrid, often being criticised by Madridistas for his blips in intelligence, he could yet realise his potential at the right club.

And Chelsea could be that for him. Victor Moses played a lot of game in the wing-back position last season, but it is highly doubtful whether he could do the same in Europe without being found out by wingers. So Danilo is an important signing for Antonio Conte.
