Following their lacklustre Ashes campaign, England are visiting New Zealand for a short test match series. We take a look at five English players who can trouble the hosts on their home soil. New Zealand will need to find a way to tackle these players. The Black Caps will not make it easy for England as this is their last test series in what has been a summer that they haven’t played a lot of tests.

Another England player that most of the New Zealand players haven’t seen a lot apart from the few that have been over to England playing county cricket. Making his debut at the day/night test match at Adelaide, the Somerset seamer got called up for the Ashes after an impressive county cricket season in which he took 46 wickets at 22. He is no mug with the bat either notching up seven first-class half-centuries and one first-class century of 138 against Hampshire in 2016.
