The Premier League is stronger than ever, and we expect plenty of excitement on both top and bottom of the table going into the next season. For some teams on this list, the relegation battle will begin with the start of the season, and although it’s too early to talk about it, these clubs could find it hard to secure their Premiership status.
3. West Bromwich Albion
Tony Pulis will have a lot of problems to keep WBA in the EPL next season with a trimmed squad of only 21 players. Saido Berahino is expected to leave the Hawthorns by the end of August, and that will additionally damage the team’s aspirations to finish in the safe zone.
Matt Philips is the only new arrival at the Hawthorns while Sessegnon, Anichebe, and Chester have left the club. With Pulis’ tactics and the fierce competition expected this year, it would be surprising not to see WBA fighting for relegation. Last time they secured the 14th position, but could end closer to the bottom this time around.
