It has been a busy summer of transfer activity for Leeds United so far with a host of new players arriving at Elland Road. The likes of Ergjan Alioski, Samuel Saiz Alonso, Vurnon Anita, Caleb Ekuban, Mateusz Klich, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Felix Wiedwald have been added to Thomas Christiansen’s squad as he looks to build on the foundations put in place by Garry Monk in The Championship next season.

However, despite spending a reasonable amount of money already this summer, it would be no surprise to see further additions before the end of the transfer window with another centre-back and a striker high on the list of priorities. We have taken a look at how United could potentially be lining up next season.

4Attacking Midfielder: Samuel Saiz

Samuel Saiz

Saiz arrives in The Championship as an unknown quantity, but this does not mean he cannot have an impact in his first spell in English football. The 26-year-old had his most successful campaign to date last time out with Segunda Division side SD Huesca.

He scored 12 goals in the 42 appearances he made and established himself as one of the best players outside of Spain’s top flight. It will certainly be interesting to see if he can produce the goods at Leeds in the upcoming campaign.
