Scottish Premiership Team of the Season So Far

Celtic vs. Kilmarnock

With the Scottish Premiership now well underway, we look at the best of the bunch. Celtic may be running away with the title as a whole, but which of the individual talents has shone the brightest in the last eight weeks?

Let’s take a look at the Scottish Premiership team of the season so far:

8. CB: Kolo Toure (Celtic)

Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure, like O’Connor, has completely re-invigorated his side’s defence.

The Hoops were criticised last season for a variety of defensive errors. Their man-marking, shape, and concentration were all in question. However, Toure has come in and used his strength to bully players off the ball.

He knows exactly when to put it into row Z, and has also shown a lot of technical ability on the ball. The former Liverpool defender has strolled every Premiership game he’s played this season, and could well be up for Player of the Year award if he keeps this level of performance up.
