Scottish Premiership Team of the Season So Far

Celtic vs. Kilmarnock

With the Scottish Premiership now well underway, we look at the best of the bunch. Celtic may be running away with the title as a whole, but which of the individual talents has shone the brightest in the last eight weeks?

Let’s take a look at the Scottish Premiership team of the season so far:

7. RB: Callum Paterson (Hearts)

Many questioned Callum Paterson’s ability to defend last season. However, he’s taken that criticism by the scruff of the neck in the first couple of months of this season.

Callum is consistently bombing forward as usual and has been a lot quicker to get back into his position and be effective on the other end also. Hearts have only conceded one goal this season from down that right-hand side, and it’s a testament to Paterson’s improvement.

His form has seen him called up twice to the Scotland squad. He even made an appearance against Malta in the 5-1 thrashing. It’s clear that bigger things are waiting for the 21-year-old in the future. But for now, his development is going the right way at Hearts.
