1ST- Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal
In what could be his last World Cup, Ronaldo will be wanting to take all the headlines for the right reasons. Once again he dominated the Champions League goalscoring charts and hit 26 La Liga goals. He is the main man still for Portugal and like Messi he can single-handedly drag them through games; just like he did against Hungary in Euro 2016. With a showdown against Spain as Portugal’s opener he will be at his mercurial best to grab all three points.
